Kubica suffers multiple fractures in rally crash...is he coming back?

The initial fear that Lotus Renault GP driver Robert Kubica might lose his right

hand is beginning to fade, but the speed of his recovery is yet to be determined.

After his surgery at San Paolo Hospital in Savona, doctors are reasonably

satisfied with the way the operation went. Robert’s condition remains stable but serious. It might be a year of recovery and supervision.

Fernando Alonso, Kuica’s ‘good friend’ has been in the Santa Corona hospital to

see for himself if he could be of any help and to be at his friend’s side.

You wonder ‘What caused the accident?’ Well- Kubica's car has been impounded by police, but initial suspicions point to the combination of a wet road and protruding tree roots! We will keep you posted on the cause.. could it be something out of a conspiracy movie? I doubt it, but hey you can never hope for enough drama!

You can stay hopeful dear fans, but it already looks like Kubica might miss the Bahrain Grand Prix next month!
